Description

Black and white photograph print of the interior of a water storage structure in Broomfield, circa 1970. The print is 8" x 10", silver gelatin with glossy finish. Sunlight shines down from an opening with spokes in the top of the structure, attached to a central support beam running down to the floor. Four other support beams are also seen around it. To the left, a worker wearing a dark colored hard hat stands to the left looking down. To the right, two workers with white hard hats are seen welding, with sparks flying to the ground. The reverse side has the inscription "1083." The numbers relate to corresponding negatives (not yet identified in Museum collections). Another inscription reads "1-8." This number was probably used by the photograph's original owner.
