Description

Black and white photograph print of a water storage structure under construction, circa 1970. The print is 8" x 10", silver gelatin with glossy finish. The structure is seen to the left of the print. A crane sits to the right of the reservoir, lifting something. There is a manufactured hole toward the bottom of the structure, with a stack of long building materials and ladders on the ground near it. Mountains are visible in the background. The reverse side has the inscription "1084." The numbers relate to corresponding negatives (not yet identified in Museum collections). Another inscription reads "1-61." This number was probably used by the photograph's original owner.

Photograph was found in Broomfield Depot Museum collections with photo files, in sleeves labeled "Broomfield Water Reservoir" It appears to have originally been taken with photos Ph.1070-1094. Its original donor and accession is unknown as of 7/6/2016.
