Name/Title

Control tower at Jefferson County Airport

Entry/Object ID

ph.1085

Description

Black and white photograph of the Jefferson County Airport control tower, circa 1970. The print is 8" x 10", silver gelatin with glossy finish. The tower is seen on the left of the print. Lettering "B5" is seen above the door. In the background, an aircraft hangar is visible in the background on the right. Two propeller planes sit on the Tarmac in between. The reverse side has the inscription "1085." The numbers relate to corresponding negatives (not yet identified in Museum collections). Another inscription reads "1-44." This number was probably used by the photograph's original owner. "Jeffe Co Airport" is written in pencil after the number, most likely written later.
