Description

Black and white photograph print of the United Bank building under construction, circa 1970. The print is 8" x 10", silver gelatin with glossy finish. Five men are seen working on the framework of the roof. Various buildings and a water tower are visible behind the bank and along the horizon. The reverse side has the inscription "1087." The numbers relate to corresponding negatives (not yet identified in Museum collections). Another inscription reads "1-76." This number was probably used by the photograph's original owner. "United Bank Construction" is written in pencil following the number, likely written later.
