Description

Black and white photograph print of a crane next to a Broomfield water storage structure, circa 1970. The print is 8" x 10", silver gelatin with glossy finish. A worker with hard hat is visible on a makeshift elevator being lifted by the crane. The elevator is next to the structure, which is under construction. "71-2230/13-B" is written on an elbowed pipe coming out of the tower to the far right of the print. The reverse side has the inscription "1091." The numbers relate to corresponding negatives (not yet identified in Museum collections). Another inscription reads "1-62." This number was probably used by the photograph's original owner.
