View of a Broomfield water storage structure

Entry/Object ID

ph.1093

Description

Black and white photograph print of a distant water storage structure under construction in Broomfield, circa 1970. The print is 8" x 10", silver gelatin with glossy finish. The structure sits beyond a body of water. Trees line the back edge of what is most likely a lake. A crane is visible on the left side of the structure. Buildings are seen to the right of the structure. Mountains are barely visible along the horizon in the background. The reverse side has the inscription "1093." The numbers relate to corresponding negatives (not yet identified in Museum collections). Another inscription reads "1-71." This number was probably used by the photograph's original owner. Likely the Nissan Reservoir.
