Description

Black and white photograph print of an unidentified body of water (Nissan Reservoir?) in Broomfield, circa 1970. The print is 8" x 10", silver gelatin with glossy finish. Two trees frame what is most likely a lake on either side of the image. A row of trees lines the back edge of the lake. A water storage structure is barely visible beyond the row of trees, near center. Various other buildings sit to the right of the structure. Foothills and snow-capped mountains are visible on the horizon in the background. The reverse side has the inscription "1094." The numbers relate to corresponding negatives (not yet identified in Museum collections). Another inscription reads "1-10." This number was probably used by the photograph's original owner. "Broomfield Water Reservoir" is written in blue pencil below this number, likely written later.
