Description

Black and white photograph print of a wide angle of the tarmac at Jefferson County (Jeffco) Airport, circa 1970. The print is 8" x 10", silver gelatin with glossy finish. Several small propeller planes are lined along the tarmac. To the left, the plane closet to the camera is marked "N95444." To the right, and farther from the camera, is a plane with a string of triangular banners hung tip to tip from the wings. A large, circular water tower is seen in the background, just left of center. The reverse side has the inscription "neg. # 1078 1069." The numbers relate to corresponding negatives (not yet identified in Museum collections). Another inscription reads "1-46." This number was probably used by the photograph's original owner.
