Description

Black and white photograph print of the United Bank building under construction, circa 1970. The print is 8" x 10", silver gelatin with glossy finish. Six men are seen working on the framework of the roof. A road runs the length of the image along the bottom edge, in front of the building; construction materials and scaffolding are seen in front of the building. Several buildings are visible in the background along the horizon. The reverse side has the inscription "1088." The numbers relate to corresponding negatives (not yet identified in Museum collections). Another inscription reads "1-82." This number was probably used by the photograph's original owner. "United Bank Construction" is written in pencil after this number, likely written later.
