Description

Two black and white photograph prints of the Broomfield Lumber Company baseball team, circa 1930. Eleven men are lined up and kneeling down in team uniforms in front of the Company storefront. Each uniform has the lettering "Broomfield" on the front of the shirt. The building has a large sign, stating "The Broomfield Lbr. Co. Lumber." The team members are, from left to right: John Bogren, Bill Bailey, Henry Mitze, Julius Jones, Charles Smith, John Schoinet, Carl Archer, Francis Layman, Glenn Mosher, and Joseph Huddart. Huddart, seen wearing a tie, slacks, and a brimmed hat, was the owner of Broomfield Lumber. The reverse side of the 8" x 12" print has two lists of the team members and where they are kneeling in the image. An orange address label has a written inscription, in ink, which reads "Mr. Huddart's Broomfield Lumber Co. Baseball team."
