Description

A 35mm color slide of a small, children's playhouse at the residence of Joseph Huddart at 7970 West 120th Avenue, 1979. Huddart was the owner of Broomfield Lumber Company, and built his house on this property in 1929. The image shows the small house with a roof, porch, overhanging roof with supports, and a screen door, painted white. A window is visible on the left side of the house. The structure is roughly the size of a small room, approximately 6' x 6' in area. Several large trees are in the background behind it, along with various neighborhood houses. A grass yard with leaves and melting snow takes up most of the foreground. Inscription, in ink, on the front paper border states, "Play house at Huddarts."
