Description

A 35mm color slide of the outside of Broomfield Lumber Company's old building, 1979. The company originally opened in 1924 under the ownership of Joseph Huddart, doing business in the Broomfield area until it was sold off in 1976. The image shows the white building with a screen door flanked by two windows, and a small chain link fenced area to the right in front of the rest of the building. A rake is resting against the outside wall, and several signs are visible in the front windows. A brown car is parked in front of the building along the street to the left, with a large tree obscuring the view of the building in the center of the image. Inscription, in ink, on the front paper border of the slide states, "Broomfield Lumber."
