Description

A 35mm color slide of a house located at 7700 West 120th Avenue, 1979. According to research by Broomfield Depot Museum volunteers in 1979, the house was a pool hall and barber shop owned by Turk Lewis, later bought by H.J. Ross and converted into a house. The image shows a white house, with two eaved, gabled roofs facing two different directions. A white, metal support similar in appearance to a radio tower is holding up a roof overhang above the front door. Trees are visible in the background, with light snow on the roof and ground. Inscription, in ink, on the front paper border of the slide states, "7700 W. 120th Ave." and "Barber shop."
