Description

A 35mm color slide of an unidentified house on West 120th Avenue, 1979. The house was likely built sometime in the 1920s. The image shows a white house with a shingle roof with chimney and eaves, and horizontal boards on the front. The front door is obscured by a windowed screen door, and has two windows with wooden shutters on the outside on either side of it. A sort of metal sculpture made out of a wagon wheel and a lantern sits just in front of the door. along with a row of short bushes. A dirt road is barely visible in the foreground at the bottom edge of the image, with a mailbox standing to the left with a white spoked wagon wheel resting against it. Several trees are visible to the sides of the house in the background. Inscription, in ink, on the front paper border of the slide states, "? W. 120th."
