Description

A 35mm color slide of the back of Oasis Lounge at 7400 West 120th Avenue, 1979. Ray's Oasis (later Oasis Lounge) was a popular bar in Broomfield in the 1940s and 1950s. It was operated by Ray Scarce and his wife, Louise Scarce. The image shows a red brick building to the left with an adjoined white board building to the right, a chain link fence in front of the latter. A small grass lawn with patches of snow is visible in front of the buildings. Inscription, in ink, on the front paper border states, "Back of Oasis Lounge."
