Description

A 35mm color slide of the Broomfield Lumber Company building at 7905 West 120th Avenue, 1979. According to research conducted by Broomfield Depot Museum staff in 1979, Company owner Joseph Huddart bought the building from the Broomfield State Bank in 1933. The image shows the white building from the front, with two adjoining sections. The right section has a traditional house roof with brick chimney, while the left has a flat roof. The office door is located on the left side of the building, with various store signs on and around it. More signs can be seen on a window to the right of the door. The right section of the building has a large wooden rake resting against the building, behind a chain link fence and gate. The back end of a brown car, a large tree, and street are in the foreground. Inscription, in ink, on the front paper border states, "Old Broomfield Lumber."
