Describing his first house in Broomfield, 3 bedrooms no bathroom Mom's housework Farmwork, chores Food, breakfasts and lunches for farm workers, meat preservation, canning. Ironing School clothes, work clothes First car - 1917 Model T Ford - cheap gas 29 Chevrolet - $925 new Drove to mountains for picnics Discipline in the family Leased a Conoco gas station and gas rations in WWII Built thier house in 1948 Married Isetta Waugh in 1934 Grandchildren and great grandchildren Ed Jones post office and store and hotel. Had a room upstairs for pool and gambling Red and White grocery store Shaw garage Pool hall and barber shop Grange Hall Bristol blacksmith Granaries Pickle factory Worked for KC Ensor - carpentry Built several houses in Broomfield
