Further researchDescription
Tucker's brand alarm till, a cash register drawer. The 16.5"(l) x 4.5"(h) x 14"(d) drawer is missing the top, which would have been screwed to the underside of a counter. The mechanism inside the drawer, "Tucker's Alarm Till Lock," rings a bell whenever the drawer is pulled out. On the underside of the drawer are five wires with tips connected to the alarm. The shopkeeper could disable the alarm by pulling the right combination of wires. There is one nonremovable coin tray with two compartments in the drawer.
The third item is a removable coin tray with four round compartments (numbered as 1987.15.40a).Collection
