Description
Crowd in front of old Mamie Doud Eisenhower Library at 12 Garden Center. Crowd came to see former president Dwight D. Eisenhower and his wife Mamie Doud Eisenhower dedicate Broomfield's first library. July 7, 1963. Original black and white gelatin print from the photographer Mel Schieltz.
Photo shows Mamie (white pillbox hat and pearls) at bottom right waving and holding a bouquet. The Empire Savings Bank building is clearly visible at top right.
