Description

Fitted vest with blue embroidery on light tan colored background. The embroidery is in long strips down front with cascading v shapes. There is additional blue material around the arm opening. Two small self-fabric pockets at front where slight gathering occurs through the mid-section. The vest measures 17" (w) x 21" (l).

Paper tag attached to vest says: "1945-46 - (Major) CH Janewtry(sp?). He went to the Philipines after the war to organize American Legion posts. (Reverse side) Brought back from Philipines by Matt's granpa in 40s - after occupation + rebuilding of the island.
