Black wool felt bowler hat. Tall rounded crown with black grosgrain ribbon and bow around base. The brim is turned up at the sides and has a black grosgrain ribbon wrapped around the edge of the brim. There is a gathered lining on the inside with a leather band around the bottom. "JJH" is punched into the side of the band with small holes. Size 7 1/4. Band reads "Hatter Newmark / Stores for Men / Quality Supreme" On the crowns lining at top reads "Hatter Newmark / Stores for Men / 'America's Leading Hatter' / The Standard of Merit Quality-Style-Service / Quality Supreme". The hat measures 5" (h) x 10.75" (w) x 12.5" (l).
