Scope and Content

This is a plaque donated from the Historical Landmark Board to Broomfield. It was found in the coordinator's office at the museum. The purpose of it is unknown but appears to recognize and honor the volunteers who helped build and run the museum in 1980s-2000s. The plaque has two side, the left side says "In Memory of" (the people who perhaps passed away before this was created). Carol Smith, Laura Spitler, Barbara Taylor, Verna Atkinson, Tillie Ridell, Peggy Vincent, Wayne McGuire, David James, Alice Riegle, Dot Madsen, Lou Walther, Betty Tate, Marian Markel, Margaret Klawhn, and Carrie Brunner. The right side says, "In Recognition" (the people who perhaps are still living). Karen McGuire, Eleanor Collins, Pattie James, Ralph and Mabel Massey, Chaudia Stover, and Peggy Atkinson (Curator).
