Embroidered Pillow CoveringEntry/Object ID
1996.9.10Description
This appears to have been a pillow at one time, the inside stuffing or insert is now gone. The left side has been ripped open, this opening is unfinished. The front is a coarse low thread count tan material that has been embroidered with running stitches and cross-stitch in the design of a flower basket with dots surrounding it and a border around it all. The black embroidery thread is in very poor condition and shows signs of general but prolonged use. The back is a sturdy twill material in a deeper yellow tan. Pillowcase measures 15" (w) x 21" (l).Collection
