Description

This is a miniature celluloid flag on a metal pole. The flag is for Holland, and is made up of a red stripe at the top, a white stripe in the middle, and a blue stripe on the bottom. On the back of the flag is the text "Holland Kingdom/ Pop. 7,000,000 printed in blue ink. The flag measures 2.25" (h) x 1.25" (w). These flags were made by Cruver Mfg. Co. of Chicago, U.S.A. The flags were used as a advertising premiums. People have claimed that the flags were premiums for cigarette and cigars, Teddy Bear Bread, and Ponciana Chewing Gum. The collection included 70 countries and 48 states. (TTempleman 01/24/2018).
