This is a 3' x 5' nylon fringed American flag flown over the United States Capitol in honor of the Broomfield Centennial-Bicentennial Commission on 03/01/1976. The flag is Dura-lite brand and made of nylon. The top left corner of the flag is a blue material with 50 white embroidered stars. The remainder of the flag has 13 red and white stripes. The flag measures 36" (w) x 60" (l).
Note: This flag came with a letter certifying the flag had flown over the United States Capitol on March 1, 1976. The letter is in the accession file. (TTempleman 03/30/2018)Collection
