This is a Mars Comstock-Castle brand black pot belly coal stove. The text on the shelf on the front of the stove reads, "MARS/ COMSTOCK-CASTLE STOVE CO./ Quincy, Ill." There is a hinged door above the shelf that has 2 handles on the front. The number 21 appears on the front of the door. Near the top of the stove is another hinged door with a circular 3 slot rotating door to adjust the air flow. There is burner on the top with a removable handle. The stove measures 42" (h) x 30" (w) x 28" (d).
