B/W photo of J. W. Hunter and two unnamed male friends standing in front of a Case Engine. The writing on the back says, to quote, Mr. Hunter operated the big Case Engine used during the first graveling of the present 120th Ave. through original Broomfield, turning north of Pines Corner to join Hwy 287 as it crossed the railroad track. At that time, there was no road running parallel with and on the north side of the railroad. (End quote.) It also states that it was taken Jan. 3, 1915 and submitted by Mrs. Blanche Weyman, 160 Emerald, Broomfield.Collection
