Description

This "Address-o-graph" addressing machine is 48"(h) x 36"(w) x 33"(depth). It is Model #6341. Part of set 1984.6.1 - 1984.6.7 Our graphotype is a class 6300, exact model 6341, circa 1942. Graphotypes were used to emboss metal plates which could then be used to make address labels or stationary before the advent of ink jet printers. Our graphotype (1984.6.1) was used in a doctor's office in Broomfield to label patient records. This model was also popular with the armed forces for making dog tags, most dog tags produced and worn during WWII were made by this model of machine.
