Description

newspaper clipping, February 26, 1929, Denver Post clipping about Broomfield Bank robbery. This was this first of 2 robberies that would occur at the bank before its closure during the Great Depression. In this robbery, a ragged-looking bandit held the bank at gunpoint. He locked 5 people in the vault, knocked the cashier out with the gun, and stole $2,000+. He was never caught.
