Item is an illustrated postcard featuring Eisenhower Farm in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, one of Dwight and Mamie Eisenhower's favorite spots to spend time at. The postcard states that a few hundred yards away was the location where President Eisenhower was first commissioned as Major during World War I, which would launch his military career, eventually leading him to command the D-Day Invasion of Normandy Beach in France during World War II. The image is colored with blue, white, and green, and a picture of Dwight and Mamie is visible in the top left corner. The building is now part of the Eisenhower National Historic Site.
