Scope and Content

A transcription of the history of the Brunner family before and after they moved to Broomfield. It was all written by Kathy Brunner in November of 1979. The document relays the immigration of Rudolph Brunner and his wife Elizabeth Kunz to America, from Switzerland, and the birth of their children, including Albert Brunner. Albert Brunner married Elisa Berges, and after living in Kansas for a little while, moved to Broomfield. This document also talks about the immigration of Kate Eliza Lucas, (Elizabeth Brunner's mother), and the subsequent movement of Elizabeth and her siblings around the country. Eventually Elizabeth, and most of her siblings moved to Colorado. Elizabeth met Lester Brunner (one of the children of Albert and Elisa Brunner), and they got married. Their children included Clyde, Gilbert, Dale, and Lester. At the time of the writing of the document, Elizabeth Brunner was still alive.
