Description

Men's olive US Army infantry World War II 1st Lieutenant Uniform. The jacket (a) is a 4 brass or gold button with peak lapels, 2 breast pockets and two besom waist pockets. There are gold stripes at the bottom of each sleeve as well as 3 bars on the left. There are patches on each shoulder and button flaps, epaulets, with brass buttons to secure closure. There is a pin on the left lapel with two rifles crossing. The olive uniform pants (b) are a slacks or chinos with belt loops on the waist. There is a tag sewn in on the inside of the pants that reads "ROSENFIELD UNIFORM CO. / . . . Boston, Ma. . . / . . . / 9464 / 41-31-29-39." The jacket (a) measures 16.5" (w) x 32.5" (l) and the pants (b) measure 13" (w) x 40.75" (l).
