Description

This is a set of 18 children's play dishes. There are three tin lithograph plates with an apple and pear design and a blue and white checkered pattern around the edge. These measure 4.175" (d). These plates were produced by Ohio Art Company between 1940 and 1960. There is a set of two tin lithograph plates with a red dog design in the center and a blue scalloped boarder around the edge. There plates were produced by Ohio Art Company. The design featured "Gingham Dog and Calico Cat". These plates were made between 1938 and 1940. These measure 5.25" (d). There is a set of three metal teacups with an apple and pear design that are painted red on the inside. These measure 1" (h) x 2.75" (d). There is a white metal pitcher with an apple and pear design and a red handle. This measures 2.75" (h). There is one clear glass cup that measures 2" (h). There are two silver metal pots with black plastic handles. These measure 2" (h) x 6" (d). There is a metal lid that is the same size as those pots. There is a silver metal cup and saucer that measures 3.25" (d). There is a silver metal cauldron with a wire handle that measures 2.5" (h) x 4" (d). There is one double boiler with a handle and an insert that measures 1.75" (d). There is one metal bowl that is missing the handle. This measures 2.25" (d). These metal dishes do not have any markings, and may be older than the other dishes. Dishes like these were produced by Creative Playthings.
