Description

This is a history of the steam era of railroads and an account of what railroad memorabilia exists and why. It contains many black and white photographs of memorabilia. A scissor phone like the one at the Depot in the Agent's office is pictured on page 194. This is a hardcover measuring, 8 1/2" by 11". The front cover has a color photograph of a steam locomotive in an oval frame on a black background with white lettering of title and author above the oval. The back cover has a white background with photographs of memorabilia, and red lettering at top.
