Book titled, "History of the World War" by Frank H. Simonds, published 1917. The book is volume one of a five volume set, detailing the history of World War I and its battles. Color illustrations and maps are also included. The book originally belonged to World War I veteran and longtime Broomfield resident Joseph Huddart.
Blue hardcover, glue binding, 7" x 10", 393 pages. The title, "History of the World War" is in gold imprinted lettering on the front, with eight different crests surrounding it in a circle. A United States of America eagle seal is just below the circle of crests. The author's name, "Frank H. Simonds" is at the bottom of the cover.Collection
