This is a history of Broomfield, Colorado, commissioned by the City and County of Broomfield. The book begins with nineteenth-century homesteading, and covers the emergence of a small agricultural town and transportation corridor, the post-World War II development of Broomfield Heights, and the creation of the City and County of Broomfield in 2001. The book has an index and appendices. Appendices include "Public Schools Attended by Most Broomfield Students in 2001," "Elected Officials," and "Referendum C: City and County of Broomfield." This is a 11" (L) x 8 1/2" (W) paperback book with 242 pages. The cover is a color landscape photograph of a meadow with the Rocky Mountains in the background. The title is printed in black on the cover.
