Scope and Content

A 5" x 5" paper New Year's greeting card with the greeting "A New Year Salute to One in the Service." The decorations on the cover are blue, red and silver. In the center a large hourglass sits on evergreen branches. Inside there is an illustration of two bells and the message, "Just as true as the colors you're serving, as the glorious red, white and blue, are these wishes for best of good fortune and the happiest New Year to YOU!" Signed "Dad & Mother." The card was sent to Harold Collins sometime during World War II, 1941-1945.
