Scope and Content

A ticket for one way passage at the Denver-Boulder Turnpike, through US Highway 36. The ticket was used in 1966. The cost for the passage granted by the ticket was 25 cents. The ticket is numbered by red stamp, "A 71573." On back, inscription "This ticket to be used only for University of Colorado vehicle" is stamped in black ink. Ticket was printed for use by the Department of Highways, State of Colorado.

Custodial History: John Robert "Bob" Shupe saved this ticket along with two ticket books. He was a toll collector from 1966 to 1967. His widow Dorothy Meyers donated the ticket books to the museum.
