One informational poster on Equal Employment Opportunity, 11" x 14," 1966. The poster was originally printed by the U.S. Government Printing Office. The poster's heading reads,"Equal Employment Opportunity is the Law. Discrimination is Prohibited. By the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and by Executive Order Number 11246." The body of text recites Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as well as Executive Order 11246, with contact information at the bottom of the poster for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Office of Federal Contract Compliance.
Custodial History: Originally used and posted in the Broomfield depot's station agent office and/or baggage area while the depot was still in use by Colorado and Southern Railway Company. All posters in the depot were later removed and put in the Broomfield Historical Society's collections after the depot was relocated from 1975 to 1976.
