"It's Always in Season" Freight Loss and Damage Prevention Poster

Scope and Content
A poster telling railroad employees to reduce instances of freight damage and loss, 17" x 22," 1969. The poster was issued by the Freight Loss and Damage Prevention Section and Association of Railroad Editors, for the Association of American Railroads (AAR). The message reads,
"It's Always in Season to Reduce Loss and Damage"
"Make Shippers Aware That Railroaders Care" at the bottom of the poster.
The poster features a black and white picture of a woman in a fur coat, hat, scarf, and skirt with high white boots sledding sideways down a snow bank, with the pattern of a row of evergreen trees in the background at the top of the poster.
The AAR poster number is 6-1969
Custodial History: Originally used and posted in the Broomfield depot's station agent office and/or baggage area while the depot was still in use by Colorado and Southern Railway Company. All posters in the depot were later removed and put in the Broomfield Historical Society's collections after the depot was relocated from 1975 to 1976.
