Scope and Content
A poster telling railroad employees to reduce instances of freight damage and loss, 17" x 22," 1970. The poster was issued by the Freight Loss and Damage Prevention Section and Association of Railroad Editors, for the Association of American Railroads (AAR). The poster has a large red stop sign in the center, with gray lettering repeatedly stating "Loss and Damage" in the background. "Make Shippers Aware That Railroaders Care" is stated at the bottom of the poster, in a red banner.

Custodial History: Originally used and posted in the Broomfield depot's station agent office and/or baggage area while the depot was still in use by Colorado and Southern Railway Company. All posters in the depot were later removed and put in the Broomfield Historical Society's collections after the depot was relocated from 1975 to 1976.
