A poster telling railroad employees and car drivers to work and drive safely around railroads, 17" x 22," 1969. The poster was issued by the National Safety Council along with the Safety Section of the Association of American Railroads (AAR). The message reads,
"A Safe Family To Know" at the top of the poster.
"Signs of Life" in a red banner at the bottom of the poster.
A cartoon picture of several traffic signs that look like people, complete with heads, arms, and legs, is featured with the message. From left to right, there is a turn right sign, a "Speed Zone Ahead" sign, a Yield sign, Railroad Crossing Sign, a round "RR" railroad crossing sign, and a Stop sign.

Custodial History: Originally used and posted in the Broomfield depot's station agent office and/or baggage area while the depot was still in use by Colorado and Southern Railway Company. All posters in the depot were later removed and put in the Broomfield Historical Society's collections after the depot was relocated from 1975 to 1976.
