A passenger timetable for the Burlington Route of the Colorado and Southern and Fort Worth and Denver Railway companies, 1961. The timetable is 4" x 9" and is titled "Burlington Route Time Tables." A caption on the front reads, "Way of the Zephyrs: America's Distinctive Trains," referring to a particular line of trains for the route. The very bottom of the front notes readers to "Destroy Previous Issues." The effective dates for the timetable were May 2961 through October 1961. An oncoming Burlington Route train is featured on the front cover, with red background.
The reverse side of the timetable when folded has a train station index for the route, as well as an advertisement for Avis Rent-a Car. The inside includes more advertisements, a line map of the Burlington Route ranging from Chicago to San Francisco, timetables/schedules for passengers, and trip details.Collection
