Scope and Content

The book was used for scheduling rail, boat, and air travel of goods and passengers by ticket agents, travel agents, and others. Broomfield is listed as a freight-only railroad station for the Burlington Route and the Colorado and Southern Railway Company on page 718. A section on the Burlington Route begins page 534, with a map that includes Broomfield, and includes a section on the C&S on page 537. Physical Characteristics: 10" (H) x 7" (W) x 1"(D) soft cover book with 936 pages. The cover is red and white with advertising on the borders on the front. The back cover has a red and white advertisement for Rand McNally maps. The railroad stapled an index to the front cover.
