From research at Family Search, Addie M. I_ appears to be Addie M Ilsley born in 1866. She had a step mother who came from St Louis Missouri. Not sure how Addie and Ollie met and started letter writing, but possibly through mutual friends. They never met. Her early letters are written from Elgin, Illinois, but she moves to Park College in Parkville, Missouri. Ollie is at Wentworth Academy in Lexington. Addie eventually marries in 1887 and names her first child Ollie May! This is the first letter in the collection. At this point Ollie is 17 and Addie is 16.
