One red stained hand carved wooden bible box in the shape of a book, the front is decorated with carved relief images of a tugboat and a buck deer with rifle next to it, on back are four hearts at corners, two doves, and a medallion centered with a heart. The background is made up of rows of carved squares edged with diamonds. Spine is elaborately carved in diamond pattern with ribs. On either end are two wooden wedges shaped to fit the end of a book and made to slide outward.
