Description

One octagonal wall clock with a small frame made of medium brown coloured wood, which is made from eight small sections of wood. The clock face is made of metal and is painted white with large black roman numerals. The centre section of the clock is brass and is decorated with embossed roman numerals. The hands of the clock are made of steel. There is a round glass door over with a brass trim over the face of the clock.

"MANUFACTURED BY THE E.N. WELCH MANUFACTURING CO. THIRTY HOUR MARINES. PATENED DEC. 11, 1855. -0- FORESTVILLE, CONNECTICUT, USA" In ink on the label it says "954" above the THIRTY HOUR text and between THIRTY HOUR and MARINES it says "---Sum Gould (?)" Below MARINES it says NO.2486 crossed out and says "# R.F. May 20 1922" above it. There is also half a red sticker over the HOUR word that reads "

The inscription is printed in black ink on the large paper label attached to the back of the clock.
