Description
[a]: One green cotton corset, hand-sewn, with cream cotton lining, inside the lining are genuine whalebones for the stays. There are laces up the front. The bottom edge of the corset is cut and sewn into several square flaps. This corset would have given the wearer a cylindrical torso and would have both flattened the chest and pushed the breasts up much higher. The bottom edge is done in white leather.
[b]: One long triangular green stomacher, lined with cream-colored cotton.
