One oil painting depicting a head and shoulders portrait of the Earl and Countess of Dufferin. The Countess is wearing a crown, a light colored dress, and has chestnut colored hair hair. Her body is facing the Earl and her head is turned slightly towards the viewer. The Earl's body is facing the viewer and his head is turned in the direction of the Countess. He has dark brown hair, beard and mustache, and is wearing a dark jacket, white shirt and green tie. The couple is surrounded by a wreath of maple leaves, and there is a coat of arms at the top center. The frame is wood, painted gold with turquoise highlight, and has a carved decoration on top.
