Description
One oil painting depicting the Ottawa River to the north of Parliament Hill at the mouth of the Canal. The painter was on Victoria Island. Part of it can be seen in the foreground of the picture. Large number and variety of boats and rafts on the river. In picture's bottom right corner is a log boom being pulled by a tug. No backing on picture. The painting is displayed in a large deep ornate gold painted wooden frame.
